With the RX® Series, you can do something you can’t do with any other rangefinder: use multiple modes at once to tailor your readings to the conditions. Only RX rangefinders give you the ability to adapt to changing conditions like this. Leupold’s® exclusive Quick Set Rotary Menu® is intuitive and easy to use, giving you fast access to all the incredible performance modes of your new RX rangefinder.
- Quick Start Mode takes into account that you have to be ready to ID a target, find your True Ballistic Range®, and take your shot in just seconds. This mode provides you the information you need fast, so you don’t miss the shot of a lifetime.
- A precision magnetic inductor compass in Compass Mode displays your compass reading in larger numbers above the reticle.
- Declination Setting corrects the usual compass error between magnetic north and true north.
- Compass Tilt Compensation uses the inclinometer to provide correct compass readings up to a 30º viewing angle. Most electronic compasses must be held level.
- Long Range Mode gives range to more distant targets rather than trees or other objects closer than 150 yards. Great for ranging through brush and branches when you are concealed.
- Rain Mode eliminates the interference that plagues lesser rangefinders, filtering out the laser’s shorter “rain” readings for true downrange accuracy.
- 1st Target Mode displays the distance of the closest object when more than one object may be read. With other rangefinders, multiple objects often return an average distance, not an accurate distance.
- Last Target Mode displays the distance of the farthest object when more than one object may be read, as well as ignoring brush, even close to the target, for superior accuracy.
- Measurements in feet, yards, or meters lets you choose how distances are displayed on the RX. When either meters or feet are selected, range is displayed to one decimal place.
